Are you a homeowner that has been impacted by Hurricane Matthew? Assistance is available through the ReBuild North Carolina Program. ReBuild NC, North Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, provides funding to applicants for housing repairs, homeowner reimbursement for work that homeowners have already completed on their own, and other housing-related issues due to damage from Hurricane Matthew.

After arriving at Selma’s Historic Union Depot, participants will be transported to Uptown Selma for Lunch and Antique shopping along Raiford, Railroad and Anderson streets. Board the party bus for Hinnant Family Vineyards in Pine Level for a tour of the facility and tasting.
Return back to Historic Union Depot in Selma.

Clayton Youth Theater is looking for a few good student actors! CYT will host auditions next week for the winter production of The Diviners by Jim Leonard, Jr.
Students must be in 7th-12th grade during the 2018-2019 school year to be eligible to participate. Auditions will be held Friday, November 16, at 6:30 PM, and Saturday, November 17, at 10 AM, at The Clayton Center.

Is your child a future detective? Selma Parks and Recreation is offering a STEM class this Fall during your child’s Thanksgiving break. Join us on November 19-21 at the Selma Fire Station, as we explore the science of Crime Scene Investigations. Our STEM Forensic class will teach your child about the preservation and reconstruction of evidence. It will involve finding clues, piecing together puzzles, and solving the mysteries of a crime scene.
