Historian Eric Jackson will discuss the legacy and history of Juneteenth, Why it was celebrated why it fell out of fashion and why it is being celebrated again. Jackson will explore the origins and discuss why it is relevant today. The event will take place at the Selma Historic Museum 104 W. Anderson Street, Uptown Selma,NC June 24 at 11:00 AM.
